Weather report = SNOW

I swap my DAW in the holidays to Mountain Lion 64 bit. Also make a switch from Cubase to Logic. After spending a few day’s benchmark some sequenzer, i figured out Logic is the only one which full support all 8 threads of the i7. One i miss is the expressionmap from Cubase for scoring 🙁 .

Now i must create different startup-projects include all trax and patches i need for my own SOUND. Not so easy! It’s very important for my creative workflow to have all sounds + samples loaded and record ready. A second DAW is set up as sampler to expand the totalram to 24GB. Amazing !

Since over unbelievable 30 years guitarplaying i cover only around 10 songs – forget 8 – practice only tech-stuff and improvise over many trax in various styles. While looking TV – to the movie soundtrack, between to the commercials … I’ve never play longer time in a band or learn songs was written – only add my voice, style and emotion to create a new dimension.

Scales,theorie … ? Ups ! A little, but i can count from 1 to 12 🙂 need 8 for the scale and only 5(penta) for melody in all countries of the world. ding dong deng dung dang (12356) ! I don’t teach, i create music and i know i will find the right people to bring me and my music around the world.

For me is music not a job or business – its my life 24 hours per
